I have had so many people tell me that they can’t find a good brownie box mix. Well why use a mix? This is so easy and so much better. If you try this you will never go back to a box mix again

Best Homemade Brownies

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 cups baking cocoa (I use Nestle)
  • 4 Large eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup walnuts chopped


Step 1
Melt butter, add cocoa mix until smooth and set aside
Step 2
Mix eggs and sugar together until turns a light yellow in color
Step 3
Add vanilla and cocoa mixture. Mix again.
Step 4
Add salt, flour and nuts. Careful not to over mix.
Step 5
Put batter in greased and floured 9" X 13" pan. Spread evenly. Put in preheated 350 degree oven for 35 - 40 minutes.
Step 6
Cool frost with favorite chocolate butter cream frosting or use for brownie sundae
